“Globe Goers” owns the rental bikes & equipment featured in this rental agreement to ensure that the bike & equipment is used correctly. In order to user behaves responsibly & has the best possible experience, the renter agrees to:

1. The Renter assumes full responsibility for the care and safe return of the rented bicycle and all associated accessories (including but not limited to locks, helmets, and keys). An initial condition report will be completed upon delivery. The equipment must be returned in the same state, accounting for normal wear and tear. The Renter is financially responsible for any damage beyond normal use, as well as for the full replacement cost in case of loss or theft.
   
   
2. By using our bicycles, you acknowledge and agree to comply with all local traffic laws and regulations. You are solely responsible for any personal injury or damage to property (to yourself or others) resulting from an accident during the rental period.
   
   
3. The user is solely responsible for securing the bicycle at all times. As a best practice to prevent theft, always use the provided lock to secure both the frame and a wheel to a fixed, immovable object. Globe Goers is not liable for any loss, damage, or claims arising from theft or improper securing of the equipment.
4. In case of theft of the bicycle, the user must pay the total price to refound it.
   
   
5. A refundable cash deposit in USD or EUR is required for each bicycle rental. The deposit amount will be returned in full upon the safe return of the bicycle and all accessories, pending a final inspection. For security purposes, a photo of your valid ID, driver’s license, or passport will be taken at the time of rental. Please note that all payments, including the rental fee and deposit, must be made in full and in advance.
   
   
6. No refund will be made for returns before the time stipulated in the contract.
   
   
7. The delay in the return of the bicycle(s) will entail the payment of the corresponding fee.
   
   
8. In the event of a breakdown, our mechanical assistant undertakes to provide assistance.
